NVIDIA’s Latest Game Ready Drivers
NVIDIA released driver version 472.12 for its graphics cards, and these drivers certainly pack a punch in terms of new features. First, they’re the drivers that bring full Windows 11 readiness to NVIDIA GPUs, so you won’t have any display issues when you decide to upgrade to Windows 11.
The update also adds DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) to 28 more games, bringing the total to more than 100 games. This technology uses AI to upscale video games from a lower resolution to a higher one while also increasing the frame rate without changing graphical quality. Put simply, it’ll make supported games look and run better, and that’s always a good thing.
Some of the games added haven’t been released yet. For example, Industria will have DLSS support, and it’s scheduled to launch on September 30, 2021. Likewise, Alan Wake Remastered will support it, and it’s planned to come out on October 4, 2021.
The update includes display support for Alan Wake Remastered, Deathloop, Diablo II: Resurrected, Far Cry 6, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Industria, New World, and World War Z: Aftermath, so there’ll be plenty of new stuff to play on your PC soon.
