If you have allowed certain sites to access your location in Mozilla Firefox, but you don’t recall what those sites were, it’s easy to see the list of sites that can view your location in this browser. We’ll show you how.
In Firefox on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, and Android, you can open a settings menu to view a list of sites that can access your location. In Firefox on iPhone and iPad, you can’t see that list. If you want, you can disable location services on those two devices instead to prevent sites from finding out your whereabouts.

Check Which Websites Can Access Your Location in Firefox on Desktop
To find the sites that can view your location in Firefox on your Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook computer, first launch Firefox on your computer.
At the top-right corner of Firefox, click the three horizontal lines.
In the menu that opens after clicking the three horizontal lines, select “Settings.”
On the “Settings” page, in the sidebar on the left, select “Privacy & Security.”
Scroll down the right pane to the “Permissions” section. In this section, next to “Location,” click “Settings.”
You’ll see a “Settings – Location Permissions” window. Here, the sites that have “Allow” in the “Status” column can access your location.
If you’d like to prevent a site from viewing your location, click “Allow” next to that site and choose “Block.” Then click “Save Changes” at the bottom.
You can also block sites from asking to access your location. To do this, on the “Settings – Location Permissions” window, activate the “Block New Requests Asking to Access Your Location” option.
And that’s all.
If you’re on Windows 10, you can disable location services to prevent any apps (like Firefox) from viewing your location.

Check Which Websites Can Access Your Location in Firefox on Android
In Firefox on Android, you can also view which sites can access your location and block them as well. To do so, open the Firefox browser on your phone. In the top-right corner of the browser, tap the three dots.
In the three-dots menu, select “Settings.”
On the “Settings” page, in the “Privacy and Security” section, tap “Site Permissions.”
You’re now on the “Site Permissions” screen. At the bottom of this screen, tap “Exceptions.”
The “Exceptions” page displays the sites that can access various features, including location data. To check if a site has access to your geolocation, tap that site on the list.
On the screen that follows, beneath “Location,” see if it says “Allowed.” If it does, this site has access to your location.
If you’d like to revoke location access for this particular site, tap the site. On the “Location” screen that opens, tap “Blocked.”
